Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes, please make an appointment by calling one of our offices.
Do you allow walk-in visits?
We don’t encourage walk-ins because we want to adequately prepare for your child and their care, but we are happy to try to facilitate same-day appointments.
What do I need to do if I'm a new patient?
Welcome! We're glad to have you. Please arrive 10 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment time. This will allow us to get all of your paperwork done.
What if I am going to be late for my appointment?
We get it. Things get in the way. Just call our office if you are going to be late or cannot keep your appointment. Our staff can assist you with rescheduling if needed.

Coverage and Services
Are your services covered by my insurance?
We accept all major private insurance companies and all Medicaid (HMO) plans in South Carolina.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, debit cards and Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
Do you provide immunizations? What about school or sports physicals?
Yes, we provide all immunizations. We also do school and sports physicals. You can find a list of all the services we provide here.
What if I do not have my newborn's insurance card yet?
Don't panic! We've seen that before. Inform your insurance company of your newborn's birth. We can use the guarantor's ID number for the first 30 days for insurance.
Can we see any provider at Tri-County or is there one provider for each patient?
We recommend that you familiarize yourself with all of our providers. Alternating visits will allow all of our providers to serve your child's medical needs. Our providers meet regularly to ensure continuity of care for all patients.
Miscellaneous
What do I do if my child is having a life threatening medical emergency?
Please call 911 immediately if the condition is life threatening. If it is not urgent, you can call our office. During our hours of operation, our nurses will give you guidance on what to do. If it is outside our hours of operation, we have a triage service that can assist you. You can reach that service by just calling our regular office number.
